Spring Fever

By Terra Wolfe

Sticky little leaves
are unfolding
in my stomach.

My eyes are the sun
and the breeze
pours
through my fingertips.
You
have warmed
the places
that were buried
under snow and mud
and I
am swelling
with green,
with blossoms.
