The Karmic Soul Mate The first and most common is the karmic soul mate.  This one is part of your karmic family.  You have been part of this soul mate’s family since time began.  You have birthed this one and held his head in your lap when he died.  He has been your brother, your son your teacher and your enemy.  All of these roles he performed with love and knowledge that he was providing you with the situation you needed to grow.  You have done the same for him.  In this life you might have karmic debts to each other in many combinations.  Or, you might have just planned to get together for awhile or a life because you know each other so well and enjoy being together. The Karmic Mate This is the one you already miss.  You have been together as mates so many times before.  OK, occasionally you were brother and sister or mother and son but mostly you were mates.  You raised children together had successes and failures triumphs and tragedies.  You held each other for the last breath and mourned the passing.   You have been mates over the ages.  Often changing genders as you learned and grew over lifetimes. The Twin Flame The ultimate soul mate may or may not be any kind of a romantic encounter.  In fact, you probably won’t meet this person in your life, these relationships are very rare.  Sometimes twin flames will come together to accomplish something important in the world.  Sometimes a twin flame will show up to give you exactly what you need to move to a higher level.  I speak of higher levels here in the spiritual sense.  There often is super-consciousness in a twin flame relationship.  Everything is more real, connections seem obvious from this life or others.  There is a purpose to this relationship.
