Chakra Clearing Meditation

Accept that you naturally live in a state of grace and from this position are acting out of unconditional love for yourself which aligns you to the energy of the creative force.

Acknowledge to yourself and to Spirit a willingness to have this realignment toward balance and harmony take place in your energy centers.

Lie down comfortably. Take a deep breath, in your nose and out your mouth. Breathe in deeply enough to let your stomach balloon out and fill your lungs until you can feel the top bits of the lungs fill with air. Hold a second and breathe out, pulling your stomach down toward your spine and completely emptying your lungs.

Do this three times, and then continue to breathe this way as you begin with your feet and tighten with an inhale and completely relax the feet, with the exhale. Just let them go until they feel heavy and relaxed. Repeat these breaths all the way up your spine, down your arms, your neck, your facial muscles, the inside of your mouth, your eyes, your scalp.

Now feel a sort of dragon tale at the end of your spine that is hollow and goes to the center of the earth.

Now, when your body is completely relaxed, one by one visualize the energy of each Chakra, its colors, its feeling. The energy enters through the top of your head; it is alive and sparkling, brightly colored in the color of the Chakra you are working with.



Hold that color in your head, and in the area of that chakra's energy, release any unwanted energy you have accumulated. Let it wash freely down the hollow tail. Just let it release, don't force it.

When the area is clear, allow the color of that chakra to flow into it's place. Begin with the red root chakra and proceed like this one by one to the crown. As this healing energy pours into your body, at each chakra, let it come to rest in the appropriate area for each chakra. Spend a moment with the energy.

When you have cleared every chakra, allow a brilliant effervescent white light to enter through the crown and wash down the tail, taking with it any used up energy that is left in any of the chakras. Just release it and let it ground.

If you have any difficulty visualizing colors, before you begin, gather around you objects that are the appropriate color for each chakra. It is not important what the objects are, but it is important that the colors be vivid and energetic. When we need electric blue, denim won’t do it.

Be aware of the energy in your body. Stay with it for a few minutes and with each breathe be sure to notice the feeling of clearing and restoration of energy. close your eyes a couple of times during the day and let yourself take a few deep breaths and experience this balance. As you experience the harmony in your body, it will feel different, more actively alive.

After the first experience you may find issues arising that require additional work. This is not unusual. As the obvious imbalances are attended to, often more subtle or deeply buried issues arise. Continue the sessions as often as you feel that you require them.

Because of the pressures of the world with which you interact and unhelpful structures in which you have been taught to function, you will, periodically, want to use this system to realign the energy. You will find that the more often you do it, the easier it is to accomplish.

Be aware that if you feel that a certain chakra is out of balance, that these centers operate as a system and pay attention to also realigning the next chakra down in order to complete the balancing. It is usually a good idea to work with them all when you need to clear one. Always complete the action with a wash of clear white light.
