The Crown Sahasrara (thousandfold) in Sanskrit is the energy area of connection with the infinite. It is the knowledge center and the channel for the creative energy flow of universal connectedness. It is a circle located on the top of your head.

The energy which feeds the entire chakra system enters the body at the crown and allows the flow of universal awareness to flow into the physical being.

When this chakra is in balance, this energy brings a deep certain knowledge of the universal life source and allows an interchange of universal knowledge. You can feel this energy as a sparkling flow.

When this chakra is out of balance, the being feels alone, cut off aware only of perceptions and facts which do not take the place of knowledge.

There is a lack of connection with not only spirit, but the spirit of other living things. It is through the crown chakra that the creative source connects with the individual. The physical correspondence to the crown chakra is the brain and nervous system.

Gemstones colored clear white apply to this chakra, like: Diamond, White Sapphire, or Clear quartz Keep the color clear and wear the gem right on the chakra, perhaps on a headband or a coronet worn high on the head.
