Step One
The
first step in creating your intention is to meditate. A clearing
meditation that lines up the chakras and cleans up your physical
energy is a good place to start. I would do three days of
meditation before a ceremony that required the power of focused
intention. That is three days of about a half hour of meditation
each day not three straight days of meditation.
There
are many techniques to achieve a meditative state. Dance,
chanting, Yoga, TM, or a meditation that is led or guided by
another person so that you can listen to their words and fall into
it.
Once
you have reached that place a few times, you can get there
yourself easily.
Very
soon, I will have some meditation CD's on this site. But
they are available both on the Internet and in bookstores. I
might suggest that you get two of them to be sure that the voice
you hear is one you can relax with.
After the first clearing mediation, It would be good to do a
forgiving meditation to clear up old energies. Once this is done a
meditation to speak to your guide about your intentions will focus
what the intention of your meditation is and help you to see some
of considerations that this intention might effect. This will
allow you to hone your intentions to exactly what will be most
effective.
Just being in that meditative state will show you where your mind
should be as you create your tools and perform your ceremony.
